I have made a list of currently active and most popular International Search Engines to list your business on. These search engines are considered to be "popular" search engines because they are extremely accepted and most used.

The search engines below are all excellent choices to start with when listing your business.

Not surprisingly Google has a well-deserved reputation as the top choice for those searching the web. This search engine is highly recommended as a first stop in your hunt for listing your business. Google's search continues to govern the global search landscape, in figures specific to us search market place accounting for over 67 percent of all queries worldwide according to comScore data.

Yahoo Search follows a distant second to Google, being the oldest directory of websites with results almost as good as Google if not better. Yahoo Search and Microsoft’s Bing attracted12.2 billion queries (19.3% share) through their search services, globally in 2009.

The dynamics of search behavior vary considerably across different parts of the world. Among the five global regions, Europe accounted for the highest share of searches followed by Asia Pacific (30.8 percent) and North America (22.1 percent). Latin America displays the heaviest search behavior per person with 130 searches per searcher. Europe has the second highest overall search volume per person 117 searches per searcher, while North America exhibited the second heaviest frequency (12.5 search usage days per searcher).
